Herbicides

Herbicides are also known as weedkillers.

Herbicides help reduce losses caused by weeds and save a lot of work. Herbicides are grouped by:

  • time of use (treatment, planting, sowing): preplant incorporated herbicides, pre-emergent herbicides, and post-emergent herbicides;
  • type of application: soil-applied and foliar herbicides;
  • scope of action: total (non-selective) and selective herbicides;
  • mode of action: systemic or contact herbicides.

Note! Observe the recommended doses, use herbicides in early stage of plant growth, and spray them under proper weather conditions in order to avoid damage to the cultivated crops.

HADAR 360 CS

Ingredient: chlomazone (compound of the isoxazolidion group) – 360g /1 l (31.7%). Hadar 360 CS is a herbicide in the form of a suspension of capsules in a water-diluted liquid, applied to the soil, intended to control dicotyledonous weeds and some monocotyledonous weeds in winter oilseed rape. In the plant, the active substance chlomazone inhibits the synthesis of carotenoids. According to the HRAC classification, the active substance chlomazone is classified in group F3. The agent is suitable for use with self-propelled or tractor-mounted field sprayers.

ACTION AGAINST WEEDS

Hadar 360 CS is a selective herbicide with a systemic action, absorbed by roots and sprouting weeds, and then moved to the leaves. It combats weeds most effectively during their germination. After application, the weeds do not rise or after rising they become white and dry out.

MENTUM 040 OD

Contains: nicosulphuron (a compound of the sulphonylurea group) - 40 g/1l (4.15%). Mentum 040 OD is a systemic action, non-selective herbicide. It is absorbed mainly through leaves and quickly moved within the plant, inhibiting its growth and development. Weed growth is inhibited shortly after application, followed by the gradual discoloration of the plants. Weeds die completely within 20-25 days after treatment. The agent works most effectively on young, intensely growing weeds in the 2-4-leaves phase (dicotyledonous weeds) or from the 3 leaves phase to the end of the propagation phase (monocotyledonous weeds). Warm and humid weather accelerates the action, while dry weather can delay it.
